Back to shedding

Above is the amount of shed hair I lost on two wash days in the past few weeks.

My shedding has definitely increased and although I'm trying not to worry about it, I still don't like seeing so much hair come out of my head!

Ugg, trying to wait out this shedding period patiently.

Do you do anything to reduce shedding, or do you just wait until your shedding season passes?

Have a hairry day

  1. lol to the have a hairy day :).

I notice I shed more in the fall than I do any other time of the year. If you are alarmed though, do try a black tea rinse or using aloe vera juice/gel on the scalp prior to washing. I have tried these and both of them work for me. I have also heard that a lot of ladies have success using garlic shampoos and supplements. HTH!

    1. I've never heard of using aloe vera for shedding so thanks for the tip!

  2. I've consistently seen ladies say two things greatly reduced their shedding: garlic (pills, shampoo, conditioner, oil) and black tea rinses. I've never used either, but people report great results. Good luck!

    1. Thanks Ebony! Although I'm not crazy about the smell of garlic it's worth a shot since it seems to really work =)
